I did not make this headline up
A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.

also discontinuing the Men's Football Experience.
Athletic Department Statement (March 30, 2015)
As we all know, there are a significant number of worthy projects for social good and we must balance those needs with both time and resources available. Every new coach looks forward to shaping his program, and that includes philanthropic activities.
Right now, the coach needs to stay focused on getting the team in shape. Consequently, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue the Michigan Men's Football Experience and Women's Football Academy in their current state. However, we will host a 2015 preseason event to thank the most dedicated participants who have supported the fundraising efforts of these two events and honor the contributions made to the Health System over time. Details will be available soon.
We are very grateful to all those who have participated in the Michigan Men's Football Experience and Women's Football Academy, and hope everyone will continue to participate in special events and opportunities going forward.
Michigan Athletics remains committed to supporting cancer awareness and research, and the popular Trail to the Victors Race offers an opportunity to partner, to raise funds and awareness for both prostate cancer research and patient support services at the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center, which were beneficiaries of the football events. Michigan Athletics will designate these two areas as partner/recipients for the 2016 race and special events, which will be held in conjunction with the 2016 Spring Football Game.
Moving ahead, we look forward to enhancing the many partnerships between Athletics and the Health System. Some of our proudest accomplishments are the connections between Athletics and the university's important research and patient care, including our Thursday Night visits to Mott Children's Hospital, where student-athletes representing 31 teams volunteer their time to visit with patients and their families.
Together we'll explore new opportunities as well, as we support the important work being done in Athletics and the Health System.
Michigan football also will engage in other philanthropic activities in the coming months, the football program will be making an important commitment to a program to assist youth from economically disadvantaged neighborhoods in Detroit. We have targeted Detroit not only because of its proximity to our institution, but because of the significant need that exists there combined with the passion of our football leadership to serve this cause.
Was just listening to TheWolverine.com podcast and they said that there is a good chance we may see commitments from Brandon Peters (4* QB) and David Reese (3* LB) this weekend. Peters could decide depending on if the visit goes well, and Reese may potentially flip from Louisville.
Scout also posted a story saying that Dez Fitzpatrick (4*WR, also HS teammates/Louisville commits with Reese) is waiting for a potential 'dominio effect' this weekend.
Can't link, at work.
Just read this over at the great MVictors site.
- Nothing is official, but U-M is indeed evaluating the Legends program and considering changes.
- The evaluation is being driven, in part, by feedback from the players.
- McCready’s understanding is that they do intend to maintain the Legends distinction, but are considering honoring those players in a different way.
- All options are on the table including a presence in the stadium to recognize the Legends.
- Hackett is soliciting input from the Legends/families and has already connected with one other Legend/family. Hackett will be talking with all the Legends families and keeping everyone in the loop as this moves forward.
- Timeline is TBD, but McCready’s understanding is that they plan to settle this before the season starts.
I say do something with the blank canvas that is the box. Put national championship years and the Legends numbers up there and be done with it.
