A couple weeks ago, I put together a google map with all of the Michigan bars I'm aware of (and also everything from the spreadsheet that bouje has been maintaining.) The map is here.
Hopefully this will prevent the "where's the Michigan bar in Pittsburgh/Fresno/Topeka/wherever" threads that pop up every week, but if your favorite gameday hangout isn't on here, put it in the thread and let me know. I'll do my best to keep the map up to date.
Our good "pal" Bret Bielema apparently doesn't know how good his Arkansas team is...but has a range of where he thinks they should be ranked:
"I don't think we're No. 76. I don't think we're No. 1," Bielema told reporters before an appearance at the Little Rock Touchdown Club. "I think we're somewhere in between."
Guess he will find out pretty quickly how good they are:
However, the schedule isn’t kind for the Razorbacks, who open at Auburn, the defending SEC champion and national championship runner-up, and then play at Texas Tech two weeks later. If there’s some saving grace, the Razorbacks do get Alabama and LSU at home.
He is Number 1 for Drunk OMG Shirtless!!! though:
De'Veon Smith made the comment during a media session Wednesday that the Oline will be better this year. Not sure how honest he is with this statement, but we will start to find out in 9 days....
Michigan State junior wide receiver Macgarrett Kings Jr. was arrested and charged with driving under the influence shortly before being suspended from the football team this spring, according to Ingham County court records.
Kings was arrested April 6 for driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .17. He was sentenced on July 7 to 13 months probation and a $750 fine after pleading guilty to the misdemeanor.
Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio announced April 15 that Kings had been suspended for the duration of spring practices. He was reinstated before the start of fall practice.
Dantonio indicated last Thursday that Kings had met the requirements to put himself back into good standing with the team.
"He's a playmaker and he's doing what he needs to do,'' Danntonio said, asked for an update on how Kings was doing. "He's in the mix (at receiver) and he's done the right things.''
