"What (Michigan coaches) told me is that they're focusing on point guards right now, but if anything opens up, they'll definitely come back on and recruit me as hard as they were," said Towns
I'm not sure why people keep citing that he's going to an Adidas school when he refuted that rumor and said it was a misquote. If already posted, please delete.
What happened to my son is sadly all too common across this country, and it has to change. We need to stop teaching our kids that it’s acceptable to think Chris Webber was a complete basketball player.
Per Scout, Kenny Williams has received his release from VCU and John Beilein will visit him in-home this week. Beilein has a policy of requiring a campus visit prior to committing, so if an on campus visit is scheduled, it would definitely heighten expectations of a commitment.
With no announcements regarding attrition and no change in Hatch's scholarship situation, I think it's safe to assume at this point that Williams is a back-up plan in case Caris leaves.
As to timing, Caris is deciding on April 26 and Jaylen Brown will be committing by the end of the month (April 29 IIRC), so Michigan will probably know the decisions of both LeVert and Brown prior to any decision by Williams (which would have to come during/after an as-yet-unplanned visit to campus).
Edwards is 6'10" and a late bloomer who at one point seemed like he might be a late addition to Michigan's 2015 class. Receiving a Michigan scholarship offer became a longshot once Wagner joined the fold, but I thought I'd post this on a slow day anyway.
Ivan Rabb, the nation's #7 basketball recruit in 2015, per 247, has committed to Cal-Berkley tonight. Cal is a finalist for Jaylen Brown, so this will likely move them up the list.
I am excited to announce that I will be attending the University of California,Berkeley next year ! #GoBears
