"The University of Illinois is also in turmoil. The university sports an Interim Chancellor, an Interim Athletic Director, and an Interim Football Coach; the game will be played at Soldier Field, making this an Illini Interim Home Game."
This doesn't mean much near term but it would appear the writing is on the wall longer term. Not a surprise considering the struggles and lack of physicality last year but what a far cry from the tales of spring 2013 when he was "tearing up Jordan Morgan" in practice.
You talkin' about practice?!!
The 6-foot-9, 240-pound Monclova, Ohio, native is now listed as junior, a change from when the roster was updated for the 2015-16 season in mid-July.
A U-M team spokesman confirmed that Donnal's status was modified "a few weeks ago," but did not provide a statement as to why. Regardless of Michigan's classification, Donnal has three seasons of NCAA eligibility remaining.
Did any MGoPistons fans catch this game? Down by as many as 18 in the 3rd quarter, the Pistons outscored Portland 41-11 in the fourth to defeat Portland 120-103 on the road.

Tonight's game was the second of a six-game road trip, and the win brings the Stones to 5-1 on the season. It's early, to be sure, but for the first time in a long time I'm excited for the future of Pistons basetball.
Last second buzzer beater. Iowa loses 76-74.

Maizenbrew has a nice article about the father vs son matchup
It looks like the game will air on BTN Plus and so will next Fridays game vs Northern Michigan. It may be worth the 1 month subscription to catch both games.
In his first playing time for the Pacers, GRIII made a big impact with 10 points on 3-4 shooting(4/5 FT); he also chipped in 2 boards and a steal in 19 minutes. Perhaps most importantly, he found himself on the floor with the score tied and less than a minute left against Evan Turner, Jared Sullinger and the Celtics. The preseason noise about his development might not be the mirage it appeared to be after starting the season with 4 straight DNPs.
Stauskas started again for the Sixers and currently has 14 points, 5 boards, and 2 assists in the 3rd quarter, albeit not very efficiently(5/14 FG, 3/10 3pt)
Tim Hardaway and Mitch McGary's teams are both in action tonight, although neither have played. McGary has 4 quality big men in front of him in OKC, while Tim Hardaway appears to be the literal last man off the bench for Atlanta at this point.
