well that's just, like, your opinion, man
I will not take credit for this, but enjoyed watching it! Seriously, can we have too many hype videos?
I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet but here are two videos from yesterday that include Beilein and Alexander's pregame speech along with cutting down the nets, and then the team's arrival back in AA.
ENJOY AND GO BLUE!
Found a gem this morning from one of Wisconsin's student newspapers:
However, there was a shocking development while the Wolverines were in the process of cutting down the nets at Cowboys Stadium. NCAA President Mark Emmert informed Beilein and his team their win against the Gators would be vacated due to the recent findings of improper benefits given to several players, including All-American sophomore guard Trey Burke.
According to a source inside the locker room, when Beilein asked Emmert who was responsible for turning the Wolverines into NCAA authorities, Emmert said it was none other than Fab Five members Juwan Howard, Jalen Rose and Chris Webber.
And then later:
“We’re the original Fab Five, and nobody will ever duplicate what we had in Ann Arbor,” Webber said, pausing to take a swig of his brown-bag-wrapped bottle of whiskey.
Well played, Daily Cardinal.
I know some of us are still coming down from that fact that we're even IN the Final Four. But hey, we're not done yet. Survive and advance, we've got business to take care of on Saturday.
That said, what are your early thoughts about the matchup?
EDIT: We're an 8:49p tip and Duke/Wichita St. will tip at 6:09p
Note - we'll likely be closer to 9p...games are normally a little over 2 hours and tournament games are much longer. Add in the 30:00 between games and I'd say we tip right around 9p.
Jamie Dixon talks about the 4 teams in the final four since he faced all of them. I found his description of Michigan to be...well...wrong, for the most part. But, I'd love to here what you guys have to say
See the whole article here
Some parts I found interesting
Dixon: "Jordan Morgan was a heckuva player -- this guy can score...I would say this is a better rebounding team than [coach John Beilein] has had at Michigan...This team is stronger and a better rebounding team and a better defensive team, and that's what has made them good enough to get this far.''
Sorry for anything wrong with this post, it's my first :)
