at least it's not just us?
I just started following our gregarious assistant coach on Twitter. He's dropped over 30 (!!!) tweets today alone including 12 within the last half hour! I had to drop him off my phone because it was blowing up too much. I love the guy to death, but I had to point it out. Not much point to the thread except I felt it was time for a Bacari Alexander thread again.
Looks like we shouldn't read too much into Oakland's near upset of MSU: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball/recap?gid=201012140580
They're legit. Played Illinois and Purdue tough, near upset of MSU, and successfully knocked off UTenn. I exxpect them to be a tough opponent for us on the 18th.
Edit: never mind, already posted and missed it
Went to the mbball game tonight and at one point in the 1st half the players on the bench for NC Central were doing the "defense....defense" chant. Strange right? Or maybe I'm just a non-observant turd and its a normal thing.
I searched - I did not find.
Why the HELL does Doyle of the BTN refer to Darius Morris as "the Butterfly?"
I've been particularly impressed with true freshman, Jon Horford's performance as of late. He didn't play for two games because of an injury, and in the two games since, has been very solid:
Against Utah: 16 minutes - 5 pts, 5 rebs, 1 stl, 1 blk.
Against NCCU: 15 minutes - 9 pts, 9 rebs (7 off).
He's listed as 6-9, 220lbs on Rivals, and should continue to fill out, like his brother Al did at Florida. This should be exciting to see as he gets more playing time to help Morgan underneath.
Fun fact: He was number 33 in high school, and took his brother's NBA number (15) upon arrival at Michigan.
Didn't see any of these up already so here it is. Looking for the Morris, Morgan, and Hardaway trio to continue their good play tonight
