fair point that
Apparently Spike Albrecht had his second surgery and Nik stopped in for a visit.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for Spike.
So, as I said I would the other day, I emailed MDen to ask why there was the big jersey sale.
My original theory was that Adidas is transitioning Michigan over to actual Maize so they need to push the highlighter-numbered jerseys out for the actual Maize ones incoming.
I based this off of the 2015 gear featuring actual Maize as opposed to the Adidas highlighter style. Here is one of several examples
Well, that turned out not to be the case.
Response from MDen I just received
Here are the reasons for the jersey sale.
1. We put stuff on sale all the time to move out old inventory to make room for new merchandise for 2015. This year, basketball and Hockey are both getting new Uniforms so a few more styles to liquidate than most years. This is nothing more complicated than that.
2. It is also the case that for 2015 only 2 numbers will be available for Football jerseys - #1 and #4. This also plays a role in our moving out old inventory of other numbers.
So there you have it. Those are the reasons for this massive jersey sale.
Basketball will be getting new uniforms by Adidas and Hockey will be getting their SIXTH different uniform in the last 6 years.
Here's a recent highlight video of Austin Davis in AAU circuit. Looks to be a very polished post scorer with drop step, up and under, hook, turnaround, etc. His stats in AAU are very encouraging considering that big guys rarely gets the ball.
Max tweeted that he is moving out of AA today:
An article published by Brendan Quinn makes it sound like Max still wanted to come back and the coaches said no:
I probably care more about Max coming back than I should (this is my second max post), but I really do not get this at all. It is a total head-scratcher. The coaches would really rather have nobody on the roster than a 5th year senior who put up servicable minutes at the 5 last year?
Even if wilson, wagner, robinson, or anyone else is going to give us better minutes at the 5 next year (which is dubious), you are telling me that if doyle or donnal goes down fwith an injury Max would not see minutes at the 5? Even if we are planning on adding another grad transfer, I really doubt anyone else could help us as much as Max. We need a 3rd center more than a 3rd anything else. My best guess is Beilein took the mindset of "the decision has been made," and he perhaps thought it was in the best interest of Max and/or the program not to revisit it. But I don't like it.
Good day to be a Michigan Basketball fan.
Hibbitts, a 6-foot-8 shooter, averaged 17.3 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocks and shot 48% from the floor as a senior. Hibbitts took recruiting visits to Vermont and American and chose the Wolverines over several mid-major offers from other schools.
