I know,, who cares, but I thought it was interesting that they sold out to State Farm Insurance. As a policy holder, this bugs me a bit. Bloomington IL, corporate headquarters of State Farm, is about 52 miles northwest of Champaign. What I found even more interesting is that the renovations include adding A/C to the State Farm Center (aka Assembly Hall). I guess there will be no more confusion between U of I and IU, when it comes to basketball venues. Now, our "biggest rival" will have a nicer facility in which UM can play well and win a lot (hopefully). You may now return to DG's Tweets.
Good write up at UMHoops.com.
Sanders and his AAU teammate appear to be a package deal and UofM is among a handful of schools already in on these two. Looks like Sanders has good things to say about the staff, program and academics. But man...what a highlight video!
He looks very charismatic compared to Burke and Morris who were more stoic. I like the swagger.
Long Beach (Calif.) Poly has produced a number of outstanding talents over the years, 6-7 wing Kameron Chatman among the latest. Rivals.com's No. 39 player in the 2014 class has picked up interest from schools nationwide - this weekend he'll very possibly receive a Michigan offer when he visits Ann Arbor for the first time.
Burke: Solidly in the Top 5 and nothing in this workout shows otherwise. That balancing-dribbling drill looks quite difficult and speaks to his drive to get better durability for the long NBA seasons. How effectively he handles NBA length will determine how big a star he will be but his work ethic ensures he will reach his full potential. THJ: Biggest knock is his handle and I'm not sure what these drills reveal about that. Against VCU's press he handled the ball frequently and quite well. But other times this was an issue and I think this was just part of the inconsistency shown throughout his career. Being a hard worker I think we'll see him only get better and more consistent, really making a name for himself in the NBA. His shooting will be a big plus and it speaks to his conditioning that he was able to put up so many shots in a row while maintaining his form and range.

Burke considered the 5th best player in the draft by ESPN's Chad Ford
• Hardaway Jr. has been hiding in plain sight for the past three years. Whether it was comparisons to his father or the fact he was surrounded by so much talent at Michigan the past two years, he's struggled to convince scouts he's a first rounder. I'm not so sure that's the case anymore.
His performance at the combine, shooting the ball in the athletic testing, and in Friday's live action 3-on-3's put him in the same groupings with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Jamaal Franklin, Glen Rice Jr. and Allen Crabbe for the next 2-guard to come off the board after McLemore and Oladipo get drafted.
Pistons Fans: McLemore, Porter and Oladipo are considered the options (in order)
