Peppers at 10, which seems low.
There is a nice Mark Donnal story on Mlive.com . The story mentions how difficult it was for him not to play last year as he was holding his own against the starters.
The quote I liked to see was this:
Because of that, Donnal opted to attend both U-M summer sessions this offseason. He remained on campus, emulating last summer’s regiment of Nik Stauskas and Caris LeVert that was often cited for their breakout 2013-14 campaigns. Joined by Irvin, LeVert (who is recovering from injury) and sophomore point Derrick Walton Jr., Donnal logged added hours in the gym and on the court. The group visited with U-M strength and conditioning coach Jon Sanderson “nearly every day,” in Donnal’s estimation. Three days a week focused on weight lifting. Some days consisted primarily of stretching, agility drills or endurance training.
Donnal noted his biggest emphasis has been “developing my body and fine-tuning everything -- working on post moves and making sure my jumper is alright.”
It sounds like he is confident and ready to go.
Not a bad stat linr for Nik. Sounds like he is shaking up the roster. Two steals and two blocks? Hard work, talent, and confidence is going to add up to a long NBA career.
"Stauskas posted 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting, tying forward Quincy Acy for the team lead in scoring, and added three assists, two steals, two blocks and three turnovers."
I just heard a report on TV that Lebron is returning to Cleveland. He made a statement to Sports Illustrated.
Nice article on Caris. I am guessing he will be working his ass off to make the most of the opportunity to help lead this team and get to the NBA. http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2014/07/off-season_overview_ca...
[Mod edit: Changed the title. If it's just "Caris LeVert", it's not letting anyone know what's going on and results in a thread where the only comments are about the title. JGB.]
I know the LBJ-to-Cleveland smoke is getting thicker and thicker, but I thought this was a pretty great piece of internet sleuthing. Tweet below:
Text of the message in twit pic in case you can't see it:
"But I think LeBron James is going to Cleveland. I just ran Firebug across his site and came up with a few things... Right now, there are pages on his site that were built yesterday. There is no content on them, but they do have a color palette. ffbb42, 012a60, 870038, ffffff. Those are the colors of the Cleveland Cavaliers for those of you too lazy to plug them into a hex chart. Everything else is the same. His web developer built pages with a navy blue header, crimson font sets, and golden accents. That seems a little suspect."
