Nice MLive article on 2016 recruit Jon Teske. He's grown an inch since committing, now a 7-footer. Put on some weight. Defense seems to come naturally to him (which is probably expected for a 7-footer in HS), with an outside shot and is described as a "crafty passer." So we'll have a true freshman with some size on the roster in two years. It is nice to have that going for us.
Now a Top 100 recruit, 4*, based on the 247 composite (#94). I believe he started as a 3* (and the article notes he was under the radar despite being 6'11"), hail Beilein.
There was a post a week or two ago about how Lebron's son is 'better at basketball than you' (which has since been taken down*).
As a follow-up Lebron James Jr. apparently already has some college offers...as a 10-year-old. Lebron Sr.'s thoughts?
"It should be a violation, you shouldn’t be recruiting 10-year-old kids.”
Also, another link that provides a quote from a rival coach:
"Ohio State coach Thad Matta has already said the younger James “will be” on his radar for recruiting."
*Although the last post on Lebron Jr. was taken down, this seems to be relevent to the board given past posts on the increasing emphasis on early recruitment.
It was just announced that Derrick Rose will miss the rest of the season because of another knee injury. What do you think we'll see first, Derrick Rose play 82 games in a season or Jim Harbaugh coach the Raiders?
Seems like a looooong shot, but...
If you missed the game its well worth watching. Best effort of the season since losing Levert and Walton. Chatman seemed much more comfortable. Just hope it means he has turned the corner even if it is a little too late this year. Also have the last two episodes of Inside michigan bball. Latest episode has a nice feature on JMO, Stauskas, and GRIII. Enjoy GO BLUE!!
