And the guest speaker of Gameday tomorrow is.... Jim Harbaugh. Saw it on Michigan's snapchat. Don't know if anyone else heard the news
Apparently the full roster will be ready to go for the Wisco game (with the obvious exceptions of Levert and Wilson). Doyle and Spike picked a good time to get healthy...While it may not swing the game, it should make things far more interesting than they would have been otherwise.
Injuries have been a running problem in the NCAA and B1G this season, not just at UM. Apparently the Illini have decided to take a drastic step though. Their roster was down to only 7 players versus Purdue this week, so effective with Saturday's game against Minnesota, they are adding a player to their roster. The team's former student manager, Ryan Schmidt, has been promoted to walk-on status and will now be suiting up for the Illini. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I just hope it doesn't ever come to this for us.
Sorry to go off topic, but I had this bar stool argument last night
Joe D's worst GM move
Drafting Darko or Signing Josh Smith
Pistons are 12-3 since they dumped Josh Smith, the guy was just not right for the team in any way. He jacked so many bad 3's last year (a historic rate). Josh Smith had a strong track history of being mediocre and a bad shooter.
Darko was widely considered to be the #2 guy. The conventional wisdom in the NBA is to take the Big Guy if 2 guys are about equal. Darko didn't have any screaming red flags around him. I know it turned out to be a terrible move, but at the time it seemed at least defendable.
On the road at Carver-Hawkeye Arena tonight. Michigan is an underdog against a 20th ranked Iowa team.
