There a is story on ESPN that Kings want to "dump" Nik. Kings is not the best situation for him (he is averaging less than 4 points a game) as he is not used to coming off the bench, and his minutes have remained low. I hope he lands at a place where he can start and gain his mojo back.
Over at UMHoops today they had a feature summarizing the progress of former Michigan basketball players in the NBA. (link)
That got me thinking about other former players who are playing professionally in other leagues. While pondering the creation of a Diary to summarize these guys I started my search at www.euroleague.net and on the front page there is a special feature on Brent Petway. The Maize Rage and Nik Stauskas are doing a cool thing:
If you ever wanted to buy one of those Maize and Blue Canadian flags (signed by Stauskas!!), you can grab one on eBay, with half of the money going to charity (The Toronto Heart and Stroke Foundation). They are being sold on Ebay here:
Last time I checked, there weren't many left, so don't wait too long get on it!
Edit: The items are now sold out!! Congratulations if you got one.
Episode covers the wins over penn st and minnesota. Also covers the womens games against Rutgers and the OSU victory. Red Berenson got his 800th win as a head coach nice piece on that. Enjoy
If anyone else was as sick as i was yesterday heres something to get your mind off it. For those who missed the game it was a great comeback. This team is playing much better as a team and they are finding ways to get points inside when the outside shot isnt falling. Enjoy BEAT OHIO!!!
The The Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge is in the 1st round of 48 coaches and Beilein is currently in 13th.
