It's paywalled but interesting to see where some Michigan guys are here (link): It is actually pretty interesting because , according to Goodman, this is based of the intel he's gathered from his connection with NBA executives, and not his opinion.
The draft order goes by where the standings would be today (in reverse order)
Notable players on list:
1. Joel Embiid (Bucks)
2. Jabari Parker (76ers)
3. Andrew Wiggins (Magic)
6. Noah Vonleh (Celtics)
12. Nik Stauskas (T-Wolves)
16. Gary Harris (Hawks)
24. Adreian Payne (Rockets)
27. Glenn Robinson (Heat)
Never count your chickens, right.. .but the "NBA early entries" talk this week -- meaning, "we might not have any this year" -- immediately raises the question: How good can this team be next season?
How reasonable is it to assume no one leaves early for the NFB. Nik - can't play D and will be outmuscled (a problem THJ is having). GRIII - need to, um, find game. Mitch - could be viewed as a major risk if he comes out this year. And this is supposedly a very deep class for the NBA generally, so as a player it's not a good class to "take a flier" on.
And assuming no one goes early -- which of the most likely recruits (incoming freshman) are likely to play, and what positions. I have no clue on this.
So project the entire team (sans Jordan, although, that's legitimately half a big loss) comes back, plus Mitch playing full time, plus Donnel joining the lineup, plus whatever freshman will contribute... Is there even available minutes for everyone to play?
Apparently they forgot there is an M in the word team. You know, one of the first and biggest words on their little board.
Feature on Jordan Morgan on the Journey Big Ten Basketball. Thought everyone would like to know more bout our big man. Good game for him and Horford tonight. Enjoy
Only 8 points on 3-11 shooting (1-3 from 3) but still had 4 Rebounds and 8 Assists to only 1 TO in their win over the Lakers.
We're 10-2, with six games left. Not an easy stretch, but no more monster road games. We've got one in the win column against Sparty, and are two clear of Iowa. My guess is that 15-3 wins it outright, and if we beat Sparty, 14-4 should get us at least a share. Sparty and Iowa still have to play, but I do not see Sparty losing in the finale against Ohio.
