Beilein showing interest in 2013 F Gabe Levin
@HoopDreamsmag has a feature story on 2013 6-7 F Gabe Levin, who is now receiving interest from Duke and Michigan (although the story only references Duke). Looks like he didn't get any D1 offers in high school, so went to prep school for a year at St Thomas More. Currently committed to Hofstra (with a GW offer) but sounds like he's reopening his recruitment.
Btw, I love getting recruits who spent a year at prep school (McGary, Stauskus, Albrecht). That one year makes a huge difference in size/muscle and makes it more likely that they can contribute immediately. It leaves the player with four years of eligibility but pushes the four years back, allowing for more physical (and hopefully mental/emotional) maturity.
MLive article on Kevon Looney's interest in Michigan
I hadn't heard of this kid until today, but it sounds like he would be a nice get. Searched this site and found nothing but one mention.

Glad we're not with Nike... Iowa's new BB unis are terrible!

EDIT: Geez, people... It's a joke. Chances are that if it's from BHGP, it's loaded with a healthy dose of snark. You're obviously not familiar with the running Christopher Polyblend gag over there.
Reporting companies profiting from player images
So, I was searching for specific images of Spike for a gif (forthcoming. It's taking a long time, for some reason), and the following link popped up on a Google search for "Spike Albrecht".
We both know that the NCAA and universities skirts this stuff by selling jerseys with numbers and no names, references to players statements that don't include direct quotes, etc. However, this is something entirely different. This actually has the kids face on it. They are profiting from his likeness, specifically. There can be no argument here. It's his face. It's on a shirt.
Who does one contact about something like this? Somebody needs to have their business sized by the FBI or the SEC or something, don't they?
Possible Graduate School Transfers?
I've heard people talk about Jordan Morgan, and the possibility of him transferring for his 5th year of eligibility (if McGary returns). The NCAA allows this and doesn't make you sit out a season.
This made me think, with THJ leaving (best of luck to him in the NBA), do we possibly look into filling his void with a 5th year senior? It'd be an easy way to fill a scholarship for the 2013-14 season.
Does anyone know of any options out there?
Edit: The talk about Jordan Morgan transferring is all speculation from random internet posters. This has no credibility whatsoever, and my personal belief is that he's here to stay.
