"You know how Kyle Flood still has a job? Yeah, all Jourdan."
The winningest coach in Michigan Women's Basketball history percentage-wise has signed a contract extension.
KBA signed a 3-year extension today on her existing contract that now goes through the 2020-21 season.
Wonder if she was being pursued by other schools as she had years on her existing contract still left.
Barnes Arico is 62-40 here which ranks 5th all-time in wins among Michigan head coaches. Her .608 win percentage is the highest ever. Michigan has made the postseason every year she has been here.
Her .500 conference record is one percentage point shy of being the highest B1G winning percentage of any Michigan WBB head coach ever.
Sure there have been many but in thinking about some of the dumbest statements I've heard from high profile coaches, three jump out at me right away. They are:
1. Brett, opening his mouth about SEC schedule and gettin his ass beat by Toledo then TT
2. Rex Ryan, tugging on Superman's cape
3. Dantonio, just when I was ready to acknowledge his success and thinking he was secure:
"They are selling hope. We are selling results." I mean JH has no results to stand on.
I am certain you can think of many more. Would love to hear them. These tree top the list so far, imo.
Apparently in the new NBA 2K16 game, in the MyCareer mode you will be able to choose from 10 schools for your player to attend, and Michigan is one of the 10. MyCareer mode follows you from high school, to college, and through the NBA.
Confirmation from 3 people with the game, Wisconsin is 10th college in NBA 2K16. Here are the other 9. pic.twitter.com/LNC8jsmpx1— Steve Noah (@Steve_OS) September 21, 2015
No real surprise here. MSU has a scary good class now with 3 247 composite Top 50 players and potentially one more with Miles Bridges yet to decide (the two have discussed being a package deal, but we all know how that can go). Bridges announces on October 3rd and has a top 3 of Kentucky, MSU, and Indiana - probably in that order. Oh well. Beilein's still gonna Beilein.
