"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."
Back back back back back back back gone...
Who do you have winning the HR derby this year. I have Robinson Cano.
Here are the rules for the drinking game
End of 5th Tigers up 3-0 on homeruns from Hunter, Martinez, and Peralta... But Verlander is back to being dominant.
Edit: Changed Title
As the clock struck 10:00 pm PST, Tim Linecum no-hit the Padres. 4BB, 13K. He only had 4 wins to this point in the season and has had control issues for the past season-plus but he pitched a gem tonight. Congrats to him (it's his first of his career)
Edit: Changed Title to be a cheeky son-of-a-B.
Mod edit: No cheeky titles. Playful, maybe, but not full on cheeky. Seriously though, no...JGB.
my bad, not supposed to be a diary
So they missed the tag on Hunter going back to first on the sacrifice fly by Cabrera in the 2nd, but I thought the first baseman was on the bag, so Hunter should have been doubled off as he left first before the outfielder caught the ball. Am I missing something?
In case you missed it, quite a rare and funny play happened in the Tigers-Indians game tonight. Nick Swisher got caught not running out a grounder down the line and payed the price in a closely contested game.
Mike is a Michigan Baseball Alum and has had a long career in the minor leagues. This Grantland article really touches on some interesting aspects of a minor league career that began 15 seasons ago. He went to Michigan and it is a good story about professionalism and hope...
Love Miggy, but used him to get this Michigan guy some love...
