"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."
Ok, so this was more an exercise in creating a magazine spread than me designing a wallpaper, but it occurred to me that many of you are just as crazy obsessed with Harbaugh's presence at Michigan and may enjoy it. This was a concept piece I did this week for a fictional magazine article about Jim. I did it because I'm working on building up a portfolio of various graphic design templates in order to possibly land some freelance stuff. I hope you all enjoy it. It has been sized to fit a standard HD 16:9 screen because that's what I run. As always, constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome.
Im going to be gone for the Thanksgiving holiday and won't get more than this done. I like how it turned out, but I always love feedback/suggestions. My heart's just barely in it this season, so I apologize for the drop off in wallpapers (Basketball WILL have a few ready before B1G Season). Even so, I HAD to make one for "The Game." Because OH HOW I HATE OHIO STATE...
GO BLUE. BEAT OHIO STATE.
16:9 Desktop (1920x1080):
Enjoy and GO BLUE.
Basketball is back. Thank god.
Tonight there is an open practice at Crisler, and Monday is the first exhibition game. Finally we can focus on what we have become: #basketballschool. To celebrate the much needed return of basketball season I have created a wallpaper. It was tough picking someone to represent this season, but in the end I went with Beilein. It doesn't matter how many players we lost to the NBA, or how skinny the freshman are. I trust that Beilein will put his players in a position to succeed.
BASKETBALL IS BACK. LET'S RAGE.
So, uh...who wants some wallpaper?
I didn't plan on making any wallpaper for the rest of this season for obvious reasons (my previous "Just Win" wallpaper could probably suffice), but then someone on the board said something that caught my eye. The thread has since been deleted, but it was titled "No Maize...Just Blue."
I think that line sums things up pretty well. This season has us all feeling blue, and coincidentally we will be sporting all-blue uniforms this week. If you want your desktop to be as depressing as Michigan football this is the wallpaper for you.
I didn't anticipate doing a wallpaper this week, but after Saturday's abismal outing I was inspired. This wallpaper is a take on The Dark Knight Rises movie poster. Michigan doesn't exactly need to crawl out of a giant hole in the ground, but they definately need to RISE up to be succesful this season. The photo of Devin Funchess is from Bryan Fuller's MGoBlog album on Flickr. Enjoy! Beat Miama (not that Miami)!
P.S. I didn't realize how much this looks like an Adidias ad.
