spoiler alert: i linked this
The enhanced UFR viewer web app is now available for the UMass Offensive UFR. The launch page is here:
Video Notes: As always, the linked video clips are dependent on the fine work over at MGoVideo.com. Last weekend's game was on BTN, which raises some issues. Thorin can probably address this better, but BTN tends to be aggressive in removing content from their broadcasts from YouTube. MGoVideo has two varieties of video for the UMass game. There is the customary "Every Snap" condensed video, but it is posted on Blip TV, not YouTube. This requires a different video player and while the viewer app can partially support this, there are currently no automatic video queing scripts that work with these other players (i.e. - the Watch Video button will not work). This is a theoretically solvable problem, but would require way more time than I can afford to devote to this at the present time.
So I have instead linked to the YouTube videos posted by MGoVideo. These are full replays (not condensed "every snap") which is fine; the video indexing will still work and will automatically switch between the first and second half videos. These were posted as unlisted videos on YouTube, but since they are up on MGoVideo, I assumed they were okay for me to reference. In the past, BTN videos on YouTube have had a habit of being removed and if Thorin prefers that I not reference them, I will unlink and use the Blip TV videos instead, with the accompanying limitations.

The offensive UFR for the Air Force game is now viewable with the enhanced viewer web app. The link to the launch page is (as it shall remain from here on out):
New feature: I added a minor new feature. If you click the "Show Drives" button, you can now choose between the navigable tree of drives and plays, or a graph of all the drives. The graph is just from the NCAA stats site.
For those of you unfamiliar with the UFR Viewer, it is a web app (java-based) that expands your UFR viewing experience by letting you search or filter for plays based on a variety of search criteria or you can just step through the games play by play. For each play, you can instantly link to the corresponding video for that play. It combines Brian's excellent game analysis with the MGoVideo every-snap replays. You can access the UFRs for the past few years at the following link:
I don't have much free time this fall for expanding or supporting the app, but I will try to update content every week after each game. Enjoy!
The UFR viewer web app is now available for viewing the Defensive "Upon Further Review" report for the Ohio game (as well as Offensive UFR posted yesterday). Video links are provided to all plays, thanks to MGoVideo.com.
