TomVH just tweeted that Virginia's leading receiver, TE Jake McGee, is transferring and will be immediately eligible. We need a TE, and he could be a fit for Michigan. I don't know how to embed but that's the jist of it. No insider info.
I would love to have him, is it too late to retroactively add him to 27 tickets?
Welcome to the team, Jake.
Good luck on and off the field...
Nebraska RB Aaron Green will be transferring from Nebraska. This is a pretty big loss for Nebraska. He was a 5-star to ESPN and Scout and a 4-star to Rivals and 24/7. He had a decent season as a true freshman:
Green appeared in 12 games as a freshman last season, rushing 24 times for 105 yards and two touchdowns and catching one pass for 25 yards and a TD.
It seems that a lot of Nebraska fans felt that that Green would be the #2 back this year and the starter once Burkhead left. It seems he left because he was unhappy splitting carries with Abdullah at the #2 back.
USC RB Amir Carlisle will transfer to Notre Dame from USC and will have three seasons of eligibility remaining beginning with the 2013 season. Rivals had him listed as a 4 star coming out of high school.
He was born in Evanston, so transferring to be closer to home.
So, I'm officially confused. Apparently Tate will not transfer to Miami (YTM) after all. Due to personal reasons. It's a short article that doesn't propose what else he would do. Any word on what Tate will be up to?
