...talks about how UConn hasn't been in contact and how they're out. (HT: UMHoops)
TomVH
Buckle Up?
So there are conflicting reports on the different sites. However TomVH thinks there could be a commitment in the near future.
Information is paywalled on ESPNinsider
M commits aim for top class over individual rankings
MGoBoard Hero (judging from the available user tags?) and security blanket TomVH has a great piece on WolverineNation (ESPN Insider, obviously, but seriously get the Magazine when it's on sale to get the year of Insider) about Michigan commits preferring recognition for their entire recruiting class as a whole, rather than high individual rankings. Probably a good call for a group that's courting the #2 and #4 guys out there, but as TomVH asserts,
[T]he commitments have already taken grasp of Bo Schembechler's famous quote: The team, the team, the team.
(The class, the class, the class?)
Pretty impressive that five guys who have been hearing that they're each among the top 150 HS players in the country can keep that in perspective and focus on the success of the whole team. It's easy to love the way the staff recruits!

Michigan might be back in the running for Vernon Hargreaves
Shane Morris looks like he may be working his recruiting magic once again.
TomVH just retweeted this from Vernon Hargreaves
Tom VanHaaren @TomVH
CB Vernon Hargreaves RT @VHargreaves24 Thanks to @S_Morris12I got back in contact with Michigan Hopefully I can get up for a visit soon
I believe it's pretty unlikely that he comes to play at Michigan, but with USC (his presumed leader) tight on DB spots, it is not impossible.
TomVH Works Out With Barwis
What happens when our beloved former recruiting guru hits the gym with Mike Barwis, Brandon Inge, Ryan Lamarre, and some other athletes?
Well, this.
There is also video evidence. Enjoy:
