[UPDATE 8/26/2014 from Seth:]
While the ticket spreadsheet was awesome for its time, we've known for some time that it's subject to abuse, and more likely to be damaged the more our community has grown. We've been on the lookout for some way to add a layer of security that's still free on both ends. Now we have that!
Go here: http://www.tiqiq.com/sellerdirect and sign in with your Facebook account. Then list your tickets, put MGoBlog somewhere in your description if you like, then copy the link to your tickets and paste on the spreadsheet.
Nobody's forced to use that system. This is just a protection for sellers so their price can't be changed, and for buyers so they know they're dealing with a real human with a name and pictures of their cat.
To go along with the 'more informative headlines' theme, this thread will hopefully get set as a sticky. I have made a spreadsheet listing all people selling and looking for tickets.. http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Avnckx2kNv9GdGVPQXBQMDZQdFJ4RTJS... Basketball season is here.. I've started up a new sheet in the document for basketball. Ive made the permissions open to anyone to edit, so we'll try the trust method for a while until someone abuses. Feel free to post what you are looking for or selling. If it gets abused, I'll go back to the method of requiring someone to email me and then posting.
I was hoping that the Michigan game would be the later game on Thursday in K.C. so I could just buy someone's ticket off of them when they walk out but since our game is earlier I don't know how to go about buying the Michigan portion of Thursday's session. Any idea how to approach this? Thanks!
Tickets went on sale for the Advocare Classic in Dallas this morning. I bet there are still some available if you're interested. I grabbed a pack in 347.
Can anyone provide insight as to the area for hotels (ideally Starwoods), city layout (beyond the fact it's sprawling), food (tailgating), and other general topics of interest?
Edit 2: I think I edited the title to Tater's specifications (let me know if it's still clunky)
Wasnt able to get tickets in time through the AD or the Alumni Association so I'm going the stub hub route. I'm trying to figure out what area of the stadium is supposed to be for the Michigan allotment. I've seen both the NE and NW corners of the stadium on different websites but nothing definitive. Which one of the two is it?
Thanks for your help!
(sorry, having trouble with the Imgur links, working on it)
In his Ticket Watch post, as a way to secure a lower price, Seth stated "especially if you can successfully hide your Michigan fandom."
I went to the MSU game without a ticket, and, without any worry that I would find one at a reasonable price.
So I'm traveling in from Jordan to go to the OSU game, need to check which section I should sit in to watch the game. Which sections are the ones that would have the most Michigan Fans and which section is also considered the visitor section during the GAME. Thanks guys.. Alternatly, if anyone knows which is the most hostile section for an opposing fan, please note it for me! thanks
Edit: thanks guys -- Conclusion is to get a ticket in the 8 or 10 A or C section, wear my Michigan T shirt under a red or white t-shirt (used for walking in, out, or going to bathroom), if we win, run for my life(I'm totally ok with that)!! Here goes my 6000 Mile trip wish me luck!!
