I knew about Shaw but this is the first I have heard anything about Lewan. Let's hope they're both alright.

I know Taylor Lewan has only started one game and those were only non-conference, but if he does turn out to be the real deal over the next four years, maybe Rodriguez could start another new jersey tradition? Lewan asked for #77 when he came into the program because it was Jake Long's. If Lewan ends up being good also, maybe in the future the #77 jersey would be awarded and have to be earned. Seems every coach adds something to the Michigan tradition and this might be a good addition for Coach Rodriguez.

Can anybody explain to me where the Taylor Lewan hates donkeys meme came from? I read mgoblog every day, but I can't remember, and can't find, where it came from. If it is something that will stick around for a while, maybe it should be added to the list of things like "Unverified Voracity" and "Tacopants."

Alright, I was thinking about doing a photoshop this evening, but I have decided against it. I am very depressed, because the idea was excellent, but I think it's for the best.

I was going to place our very own Donkey Rider, Taylor Lewan, atop this Donkey.

But then I thought... lets not make Jesus angry the day before a game. So no go. Maybe on Monday or something.
