"He's a hard worker, and he watched me and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) and Nik (Stauksas) put work in to become (first-round picks), and I'm just happy he's getting better," Burke said. "It's great for the program, too. It shows what type of program the University of Michigan is and the direction it continues to go in."
This news is what most likely puts an end to UM's chances at getting Montgomery. Hope Sam gets along with all 43 of his new freshman recruits at UNC
Gotta love Dandy Don
Marcus hall is favoring us per scout... and Sam Montgomery had this to say to his local paper at palmettosports.com: "I was impressed by the bond of the players. They were all family. I loved them to death. There's no selfishness. They are all on the same page. They are ready to win some games. And playing opportunity is there. I'm high on Michigan right now. They are two steps ahead of everybody. But I'll wait and make my decision after all the visits."
He will visit Michigan on January 9.
According to Rivals, LSU leads. Michigan is 5th. He's also looking at Tennessee, UNC, and Oregon.
Personally, I've never thought he would come to Michigan, and I doubt it even more now. But at least he's coming to campus, so I guess we have a shot.
