landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.
Central Michigan held on for a 20-16 victory over the vaunted Chattanooga Mocs last night, but there was a bright spot for CMU...former UM running back Thomas Rawls rushed for 123 yards and one TD on 25 carries. He also caught 2 passes for 7 yards.
I'm really happy for the guy, glad he found a landing spot and hopefully he finishes his career strongly for the Chips.

Iowa's starting running back (actually a walk-on converted fullback) is out for this week's game against Penn State. That leaves..
True freshman Greg Garmon as the starter!! His backup being Jordan Canzeri who - wait for it - has not played a down sing tearing his ACL during spring ball.
Apparently 2012 RB commit Dennis Norfleet is quite the terror on the basketball court.
Norfleet is reportedly a gritty point guard and a tenacious defender. The money quote:
"I've been coaching him now for four years, but I'm still amazed at some of the things he does," said Brooks. "He wants to win no matter what. If he has to dive into the bleachers, he will. If he has to guard a 6-8 guy, he'll do it for his team."
Not bad qualities for a rb/slot either.
I think there is huge potential for Minor to become the Beer Truck. As stated in Brian's post above, he loves smashing into people. A backfield of Minor lined up at 'Beer Truck', McGuffie at 'Slaton', Brown at 'White' and Odoms at 'Devine' is extremely exciting to me and I think would terrify linebackers. Especially if you could get Butler and Mathews on the field in that formation and Brown has the ability to get them the ball, although that is seriously doubtful.
Minor was originally recruited as a Fullback, too.
Why have we not seen/heard any McGuffie to Reggie Bush comparisons?
