at least it's not just us?
7:05 start tonight, Michigan takes on Notre Dame tonight trying to salvage a split after last night's debacle.
Rutledge in net for Michigan, Summerhays for ND.
TV: Comcast 900
For me it's pretty simple: the receipt for those white roses and his phone records. They should be pretty easy to produce. In fact, I bet he has already done so for that independent investigation paid for by Notre Dame. Either that or we can't trust Jack Swarbrick any more and that's just incomprehensible to me.
[ED - PGB: Put all of your Manti Te'o related comments here rather than starting new threads and bumping other content off the front page. Thanks!]
Mod edit two: BILG found this new piece on ESPN. I'd say it's big enough to go in the OP up here, but falls just short of needing a new one. If Te'o or ND has something to say, that should be a new thread; try to keep anything else in here. JGB
Title basically says it all and I think both articles raise interesting discussion: an IUPU-Columbus reseacher put together valuations for NCAA football programs that Gene Wojo used in his overall ranking of head coaching jobs in all of football.
Michigan lands at #3 in football program value, behind Texas and Florida, and lands at #8 (tied with OSU) for overall job in football, with the Packers as #1. Those are obviously pretty great numbers for us but I'm interested in what everyone else thinks of the overall rankings.
Just because Notre Dame is in this year's National Championship game, I hope it doesn't mean we still can't make fun of them. This rap video showed up on my Facebook news feed today. It's so hilariously bad I can't stop listening to it. I especially like how they mix in the four notes from the fight song continuously. It's obviously not school-sponsored, so not quite as embarassing as Freekbass, but still bad.
I'll admit though, if something like this came out for Ann Arbor, I would play it at every pregame.
K-state is not going to make it to unbeaten; Oregon looks unlikely too that it would maintain unbeaten.
Of course USC is waiting for ND but USC looked just plain ordinary.
Alabama will meet (and beat) Auburn (hey, give us Derick Green!), and it will beat Georgia for SEC championship.
Of all scenarios, an Alabama-ND match probably is the worst that Brian Kelly can get.
The puck is about to drop at Yost, with Michigan set to take on Notre Dame. It's the Yost Rededication ceremony tonight, with plenty of alumni in attendance. So far Turco, Johnson, and Knuble have been spotted with many more arriving.
