LIGHT IT UP, AGAIN. WALLPAPER
Yes. I realize that it is still May.
Yes. May is still somewhat far from September.
Yes. I am a bit psychotic for working on wallpapers for the upcoming season so...early.
Yes. I'm expecting my second child in July and will most likely lose all free-time and sleep I currently enjoy.
That being said, I am really excited about this year's Under the Lights game and all the wonderful wallpaper ideas I have for this year's edition. Because of "Yes" #4, I am trying to get as much work done early as I can. Naturally, I will have to do some work DURING the season, but I'm hopeful I'll be AT the ND game this year, and thus will not have time for my normal insomniac-like last-minute wallpaper post. So there you have it - my full justification for posting this wallpaper now.
Actually, this wallpaper was intended as more of a "poster" feel. You could slide an Adidas logo quite nicely onto it, IMHO, and it could pass for part of their promotional material. I liked the idea, even if it is predictable, and I think it turned out pretty well. Let me know what you think. The next UTL2 wallpaper I work on will most likely feature a chicken. Just sayin'.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it. As always, a mobile version will follow within the next few days.
EDIT: Fixed the blocky font. Man, I really need to proof my work more closely.
EDIT 2: Added two mobile designs.

Steve Everitt rips Notre Dame!
NCAA Hockey Tournament
Even though Michigan's not in it, there have been some results that may be of some interest to some folks here:
Yale beat North Dakota to go to their first Frozen Four in over 60 years - Yale got in as an at-large after Michigan lost to Notre Dame in the CCHA finals.
New Hampshire beat Denver yesterday, and Mass-Lowell beat Wisconsin. This means that the programs with the most national titles after Michigan (9), Denver (7), North Dakota (7), and WIsconsin (6) are out.
Notre Dame (1 seed) got housed by St. Cloud State, 5-1. That's St. Cloud's 2nd tournament win ever (2-9).
The Dynasty is the last CCHA team left - they lead Minnesota State (nee Mankato State) 2-0 in the 3rd.
No B1G teams remain - MN, WI out, MI, MSU, OSU never in, PSU never mind.
A good year for the east schools in the NCAA Plinko - 3 teams from the east will be in the Frozen Four (Yale, New Hampshire or Mass-Lowell, winner of East Regional).
Compared to MMB's ongoing run and the men's swimming team on the verge of a 12th national title, this is small potatoes, but just more good stuff (as much as good can come from a tournament Michigan isn't in).
OT: Notre Dame to the ACC this year

Very good news for the ACC, I would think.
Michigan - Notre Dame: Open Thread

Open Friday Manti Te'o Thread: What would convince you that Te'o was duped? [New info]
For me it's pretty simple: the receipt for those white roses and his phone records. They should be pretty easy to produce. In fact, I bet he has already done so for that independent investigation paid for by Notre Dame. Either that or we can't trust Jack Swarbrick any more and that's just incomprehensible to me.
[ED - PGB: Put all of your Manti Te'o related comments here rather than starting new threads and bumping other content off the front page. Thanks!]
Mod edit two: BILG found this new piece on ESPN. I'd say it's big enough to go in the OP up here, but falls just short of needing a new one. If Te'o or ND has something to say, that should be a new thread; try to keep anything else in here. JGB
