this guy evidently hired to work for AD
It is game week and I am jacked up. However, with the rededication taking place Saturday, I have some questions on times. Ever since my dad started taking me to games back in 1994, every opening weekend, we would go watch the drumline at Revelli Hall. As a student, I have continued this for the first game every year to watch the drumline. They usually come out about an hour and a half before kickoff. So my question is, with the festivities being held before the game, what time will the drumline be playing? Also, what time will the rededication start? I want to make sure I am in the stadium to see it all. Is the schedule online somewhere?
The first 25,000 fans get commemerative bottles and everyone else gets regular ones. I think this is a fantastic response by the athletic department to help alleviate some of the fears folks have.
Google, of all companies, should be trustworthy to make U of M look great, right? Well, I'm sure this wasn't intentional, but they better get it cleaned up, quick!
I decided to check Google Maps to see if they had updated their satellite photos of Ann Arbor yet to include the stadium additions. They did, but the photos were taken when the field was stripped off! It's bare concrete. it looks terrible!
C'mon, Google! Wait for a new photo on the next satellite flyby. Edit the old field back in there. Something! Now Michigan stadium is gonna look like a construction zone for the next 5 years! They did it the last time, too! The last photo was up forever, when they had a section of seats all torn out to get a crane in there.
When the University of Michigan football season opens on Sept. 4 against Connecticut, Michigan Stadium will once again reclaim the title of the largest stadium in the United States for college and/or professional football. The seating capacity will be 109,901 for 2010 when the historic home of Wolverine football will have the bulk of the renovations completed.
“The stadium structures on the east and west side will be complete and all new premium seats will be on line,” said Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dave Brandon. “We are very excited to have the club seats and suites completed for the upcoming season and we continue to get great reaction from fans who tour those seating areas.”
Certain sections will be adjusted for the 2010 season as aisles and seats are widened on the east side of the stadium. Similar modifications inside the seating bowl will be phased in over the next few seasons. Hand rails will also be added in the aisle ways.
“The upper concourses on the east and west sidelines should also make a huge improvement to circulation, and we are happy to add the new restrooms and concessions in those areas,” added Brandon.
EA Sports has updated their Teambuilder website which means they have released the base rosters for NCAA 11. Also you can check out a screenshot of Michigan Stadium with the renovations if you go to the stadium selection screen when making a team. JT Turner: 78 OVR

Freshman CB #4 (has same measureables as Demar Dorsey, I guess they didn't take him out of the game): 74 OVR, 96 SPD
Cullen Christian (CB #24 I assume): 75 OVR
Vlad Emilien: 84 OVR
Will Hagerup: 81 OVR
No sign of Cam Gordon anywhere.
It seems EA has our safties as Vlad, Mike Williams, Thomas Gordon, Jared Van Slyke (#31), Jordan Kovacs (80 OVR), and Teric Jones
Overall, I think the ratings are pretty fair. Some players are probably overrated (Sagesse, Emilien) and some are just off (Tate 32 elusiveness?). I am disappointed that Cam Gordon isn't in the game, I'll have to edit him in once I get it.
