In light of the board's infinite football knowledge recently recovering the Aaron Shea incredible blockitude, I have another play I've been trying to find for years. I was young when I was at this game, so I don't remember many details, but any help would be appreciated...
Michigan was on offense near the south endzone (I think) and Todd Collins was at the helm. From what I can remember, he took the snap, rolled to his right, then gave the best throw fake I've ever seen. I think more than one defensive player bit on it, then Collins basically hid the ball on his hip and walked into the end zone.
I remember being blown away by the fake at the time, but can't remember any of the game details. It was a long time ago, so I'm hoping my memory of that moment isn't way off.
Ring a bell to anyone?
Has anyone ever heard of MGoPatio? I stumbled across this on Facebook today and it looks BADASS.
I purchased a tailgating truck a month ago 98 Dodge Ram 4x4 with about 120,000 miles. Nothing special just something to tailgate with, ran pretty well when I first bought it. Replaced the brakes and rotors. Then after the test drive after I finished the brake project. I went to back the truck into the garage. I then stopped and turned the truck off so I could clean out the garage. I then came back to the truck about 10 minutes later and the truck wouldn't fire up. I went into the house tended to some business and came back out about 15 minutes later and she fired up. I backed the truck into the garage and has not started for a while. I have replaced the battery and no luck. It just wouldn't fire up. So today I went and checked spark. I have a spark. Checked for fuel pressure got nothing. So I had the wife pump the gas about 8 times. I then came back out about 15 mins later and she fired right up. Any ideas as to why its an inconsistent start? I do want to note that after it started I went back shut it off and re-checked the fuel pressure and it's about 4.5. any ideas would be appreciated!
Anyone who can help me with a diagnoses is welcome to my tailgate anytime. Thanks in advance!
Condolences to his friends and family.
In thinking back before Carl Grapentine took over the public address announcing responsibilities at Michigan Stadium in 2006, Howard King was the man behind the mic for 33 years.
Does anyone out there have an audio or video clip of his announcing? I appreciate Grapentine, but I'll always think of him as the MMB announcer and King as the guy I grew up listening to. I'm getting nostalgic and just need to hear him behind the mic again.
I don't have the patience to look through clip after clip on youtube of game footage to get a great clip of either pregame introductions or postgame announcements.
Thanks in advance if anyone knows of something on the interwebz.
As I read through this list on ESPN about the "Greatest Individual Seasons in Big Ten History", I started to think about who may have had the best individual single season performances for the Wolverines.
In my lifetime, obviously Charles Woodson is right up there, but there are many others who may make the list. Mike Hart, Chris Perry, Anthony Thomas, Steve Breaston, Braylon Edwards, Tacopants, Lloyd Brady, the list could go on and on.
Therefore, my question to you, MGoCitizens: what are some of the best single season performances by an individual Wolverine over the past 50 years?
