well that's just, like, your opinion, man
I know this should be a diary, but I don't want to create another diary for a new wallpaper. I'll eventually consolidate all the wallpapers into a big diary post so I'm not taking up a bunch of space, but right now I'm exhausted (got on a creative binge and couldn't stop), so I'll do that later. In the meantime, enjoy the latest fruits of my labor. I'm extremely proud of this work (all done in illustrator/photoshop - except the UM logo). I love the art deco feel and so I decided to do a cool "Metropolis"-looking wallpaper for Michigan Stadium. Let me know what you think. Constructive criticism is welcome - I know this style isn't everyone's cup of tea. Enjoy!
Ok, ladies and gentlemen - mostly gentlemen, let's be honest - here is my newest creation. I saw the Butkus/Lombardi nomination picture of Jake and immediately thought it looked like a Captain America style shot. So that's what I did. Behold, Jake Ryan, "The Autumn Soldier." I hope you all like it. 27 days until JMFR hits the field in glory. As always, constructive criticism and/or suggestions for future work is appreciated. Mobile and assorted other formats to come as they are finished. Enjoy!
First in a series I'm working on. I'm on vacation starting Saturday, so nothing new for a bit. Hope ya'll like this. As always, constructive criticism and/or suggestions for new wallpapers are welcome. I will diligently try to make content that the MGoBlog community wants. I'm adding two versions of this wallpaper (one with "Redemption" under the M, and one without) and a mobile version will follow shortly. It's getting closer...
Earlier today this came across my Twitter feed:
...and I couldn't help but think "damn, where was Tim Howard when we needed him?"
So here's a photoshop re-enaction of Tim Howard saving Michigan when we needed him most. Feel free to post your own.
Intercepting the interception
Making the right block.
I'm sorry if this brought back dark memories. We can also make this a drinking thread if you feel that was the case.
Not the greatest news coming from Phil Brabbs today: It looks like his Multiple Myeloma levels are creeping back up. He wrote that he underwent "maintenance chemo" a while ago but it didn't prevent the levels from slightly increasing.
His next checkup is in four weeks. Hoping and praying for the best that he can kick those levels back down.
