jerseys

This is from Maize-n-brew but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere on here amidst all the panic...rule 1-4-4-f states that legal uniforms must have "Clearly visible, permanent Arabic numerals on one jersey at least 8 and 10 inches in height front and back, respectively, of a color in distinct contrast with the jersey."

Since those...unusual...prototypes do not have a number nor room for an 8" number on the front, they cannot be the ones we will wear in the game, can they?

I like them, but then again, there is maize piping on the shorts and I know how some people here feel about that.  Also, on the back of the jersey, there is a blue inset at the neck with a block M

Michigan's media relations says any news about new jerseys will be posted on website if/when it's available.

Let me begin by saying that I am anti-Maize jersey, and this is not a call for anything to be added or changed in the current football uniform options.

However...

As an avid reader of UniWatch, I saw this link in the ticker this morning, which took me to this PDF of Michigan's uniform history.

It's pretty neat stuff, and then you get to page 20. It shows that in 1964, Michigan wore Maize jerseys. I have never, ever, heard anything about this or seen any visual evidence of a maize jersey in any previous discussion. Can I hopefully just presume that this is a mistake on the part of the artists and that should just be a simple white version of the road jersey? Thank you for your time and feedback.

I was wondering if it was improper of me to buy the clearance Nike jerseys now that they cost less than 20 bucks at the nearest Marshals. I have the home Adidas jersey, but I feel like it should be OK to buy an away Nike jersey. Am I wrong? Searching for advice on what the proper etiquette is on this one.
