Great news: according to the Detroit News, Jake Butt is predicted to be back by the 3rd or 4th game of the season. This would put him in play for Big 10 games, and could make a huge difference by the end of the season.
We are a bit thin in depth at the TE position. Having Butt back will give the offense a lot more in the way of options. Having others play in the first 3 - 4 games gives them game experience before the Big 10. I wonder if this will be the precursor to more 2 TE sets?
This came out last week but I don't recall it being posted. Seeing as Michigan plays them, it's relevant. SO RG Dan Feeney was injured. He was projected to start for Indiana. Injuries don't just happen to Michigan.
Indiana wasn't going to have a great O-line this year, but this kid may have been one of their best offensive linemen. May hurt their ability to stay balanced on offense a bit. Honorable mention all B1G last year. Good news for Feeney is his redshirt year is still available so he won't lose any eligibility.
Recently, when it was announced that Wisconsin basketball player Mike Bruesewitz had a leg injury, details weren't known at the time other than some people calling it a laceration.
Well, pictures of the injury have surfaced on the interwebz. Click through at your own caution. They're safe for work, but if you don't like medical TV shows, they may not be safe for your stomach.
I won't embed in the post, just in case people want another chance to shy away.
couple of recent posts, one very applicable to the football season (turf toe) , and part 1 of a two-part post on patellar dislocations. Thanks again for reading, and I'll continue to take into consideration any suggestions for topics people might be interested in.

Devin Gardner will start at QB vs. Northwestern, in place of an injured Denard Robinson
We certainly wish him a speedy recovery! I hope that he comes back as last year's Countess next year. It seemed that Woolfolk never returned to 100% after missing a season.
Also, for those a little more familiar with AA, I am a little confused about the "surgery @ Kensington Court" part; I have stayed in the hotel Kensington Court before (it's a pretty great place)--- what exactly is Blake referring to?
BTW, my prediction; next year Countess returns as a beast. He then proceeds to follow his redshirt-sophmore season with a Woodson-esque junior year. (So continues the "we have the next Woodson" hype! I don't quite believe he will make freakish one-handed interceptions, but he should be one of the more solid UM corners we have seen in a while.)
