FWIW. Michigan doesn't seem inclined to get re-involved.
Beloved (like I am on here) UM Coach RichRod took a little detour to Cleveland yesterday to pay a visit to uber recruit Marcus Hall as reported by Sam Webb.
Is Marcus throwing up a smoke screen to stop the bashing that he got after he came back from U of Michigan?
Will Marcus shock the world as his team mate Mike Edwards says he will?
Stay tuned folks...
Travante Stallworth just told me he will be sticking with his commitment to Auburn.
Tajh Boyd has committed to Clemson. As a result, Jimmy T decided to offer a committed QB prospect, Austin Boucher, a scholarship. I don't understand it. If Pryor is his "man" then why try and offer a QB this class? I understand the point of having a viable back-up but wouldn't an upperclassman be a better back-up at this point (since the system would not be terribly new to them) in comparison to a prospect that is going to Miami of Ohio?
I don't think all is well in Buck-Nut land and clearly Jimmy has been the purveyor of Snake Oil this week!
Here's the link:
I was told today by one of the players that someone has thrown up everyday so far in the sand pit......
(I think to reduce the anger in this thread, please no Barwis Porn references)...proceed.
From what I read on the Scout board, which is like deciphering a pile of post-it notes run through a paper shredder, it sounds like Greg Robinson might be taking a visit to see Barkevious Mingo this week.
There is mention of it in this thread
but no real explanation as to why they're suddenly high on our chances.
Anyone able to parse that board and see anything more? Or is this their way of driving up traffic by offering vague promises of renewed enthusiasm in upcoming blog entries?
Rivals has released their updated Florida Top 100 and the news is pretty good - we've got five kids from that list, all in the top 73 (I believe Hawthorne is 73rd). Both Vincent Smith and Hawthorne make jumps into the Top 100 after neither were ranked in the pre-season top 100. Joining them are Gallon, Vlad and Mike Jones.
That's great to see that our efforts in Florida are not going unnoticed. They even mention in the article that Michigan has the most amount of commits from Florida outside of the Florida schools.
Hopefully next year will be even more bountiful. We've got a good start.
