spoiler alert: i linked this
not sure if this has been reported yet on mgoblog:
Drew Dileo, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound wide receiver/return specialist from Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, La.), has committed to Michigan.
Dileo chose the Wolverines over offers from Stanford, Virginia, Northwestern and Tulane. He caught 21 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns as a junior, and added 760 rushing yards with nine scores.
Michigan now has 11 pledges for the Class of 2010.
It says on ESPN, according to thebigspur.com, that Michigan is on top of Cassius Mcdowell's list. I watched his highlight vid and he looks like a damn good RB. He's got dreads too so you know he's fast. Maybe not D Rob fast, but is anyone really that fast? Anyways, D Rob with dreads and now possibly Cassius with dreads. I think it's awesome that we could possibly have an all dreads backfield.
Now we are looking stacked at WR and RB with three (I'll just count Cassius for now, even though he's not really a commit) 2010 commits for each. I know we were looking at Lattimore, but he looks unlikely, but are we still able to sign more players at either position?
With the recent commitment of Stephen Hopkins to fill one of our “big-back” roles, I pose a few questions. If you were RR…
How many more backs do you take for the 2010 class with Minor, Grady, and Brown all graduating this year?
Of these back how many fill “big-backs” roles i.e. Minor vs. speed back roles i.e. Brown.
Also quite a bit has been discussed in regards to M. Lattimore, A. White, B. Clay, M. Brown, and C. Lamb as of late… so who do you have the best shot(s) @ landing currently and why? I do understand that some consider Tony Drake a running back, but this thread is based on the assumption that he will fill a more specialized role.
Last but not least do you offer Nick Hill and if so when?

I pose (2) questions. How likely will it be that both Robinson and Anderson sign with UM being that their (2) of the top (10) safety prospects in the 2010 class; despite both knowing the depth and opportunity at the position? Also if you had your choice of only (1); who would it be?
My two cents would be to gain the pledge of Robinson over Anderson, but hopefully we can sign both. Granted my numbers are based purely on those reported by the major recruiting services, but I was somewhat surprised to see Robinson ranked lower by Rivals than Anderson, especially in comparing their offer sheets. Please don't berate me on the unimportance of rankings as the senior campaigns and camps will have people moving up and down the board continually as I already know and agree. All in all I'd prefer to have Robinson's stature over Anderson's and despite Robinson being reportedly slower I still feel his game will lean more towards lowering the boom on those who reach his level in the defense, and battling against taller receivers in helping out J.T. and Boubacar in the future.
Rivals' Michigan affiliate is not reporting that Gardner has committed. In fact they're saying his announcement date has been moved back. WTF is going on? Can anyone elaborate?
First I read it was Helmoldt in today's Free Press:
Is this accurate?
